“Beneath The Darkness” star Dennis Quaid is to play Brooklyn Decker’s husband in the upcoming movie “What To Expect When You’re Expecting,” according to reports. The 57-year-old actor is the latest Hollywood name to join the star-studded cast of the Lionsgate romantic comedy, which is due to start shooting later this summer. The film sees Quaid pairing up with Decker for a May-December romance that hits a snag when Quaid’s character discovers his young wife is expecting twins. The surprise pregnancy prompts him to try to get one-up on his adult son, who is also about to become a dad, according to Variety. Other celebrities who have already signed up to the movie include Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Anna Kendrick, Glee’s Matthew Morrison, Chace Crawford, Elizabeth Banks, and Little Fockers star Rob Huebel. Brooklyn Decker has made the leap from sexy swimsuit model to big screen bombshell, and now, the gorgeous blonde is now offering up a casting idea for who should portray her tennis superstar husband, Andy Roddick, in any future films. “Sean William Scott – because Stifler and him are twins,” Brooklyn told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday — referencing Seann’s infamously rowdy “American Pie” character — when asked which actor would be best to play Andy. “Stifler and my husband could pass for twins! As far as looks alone, I think that’s the best option.” “They could pull one over me,” she continued, laughing. “They haven’t yet, thank goodness!” While Brooklyn is rapidly rising up the ranks of Hollywood’s most desired, with a role alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in “Just Go With It” and a starring role in the upcoming sci-fi film, “Battleship,” the 24-year-old beauty admitted she still gets “star struck” in the presence of certain celebrities — especially sportscaster/”Dancing with the Stars” contender Erin Andrews. “[Erin] is beautiful and she’s smart and she knows sports and she’s like the dream girl,” Brooklyn told Shaun. “So, I love her. As a fit Sports Illustrated model and the wife of a champion tennis player, few would leave Brooklyn Decker in their wake. But the gorgeous 24-year-old was left looking puffed out after a run today with fellow model Heidi Klum. Brooklyn joined Heidi on her daily jog today as part of her AOL summer run and the pair, suitably, ran along the Brooklyn Bridge. Heidi has pledged to run 100,000 miles for the challenge, which she started on June 20. So far the Project Runway host has completed 14,647 miles. Brooklyn is one of a number of Heidi’s A-list friends that she’s enlisted to join her on her daily runs, including Miranda Kerr, Kim Kardashian, Michael Kors and Coco Rocha. Writing on her blog, Heidi wrote: “Picked up my friend, Brooklyn Decker, this morning in Brooklyn and then ran across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan! Wow! What beautiful scenery! NYC and Brooklyn…Decker that is.” “Brooklyn was telling me she runs three to four times a week. When she travels, she runs in the cities she is visiting which is a great way to learn a new place!” Brooklyn looked athletic in a bright blue T-shirt, knee-length leggings and a cap, while Heidi wore an oversize black T-shirt over leggings. “Making the decision to run this summer was a great one,” Heidi blogged. “I feel healthier and more energetic than ever before, and I love that so many of my friends have joined me along the way.” The supermodel has relocated her family to New York for the summer while she takes part in the exercise challenge and films season nine of Project Runway. “We do everything that the city has to offer,” the model told People recently. “From driving on the sight-seeing bus to the Empire State Building to the Statue of Liberty and the museums.
